F-22 Air Tasking Orders

F-22 missions that you can fly are generated by the Campaign Artificial Intelligence. The missions vary in complexity and duration so we have developed a scoring system based on your pilot's Campaign experience.

When you start the Campaign, you will have a rank of One. To have the most impact on the war effort as an F-22 pilot, you need to get promotion to at least Level Three as quickly as possible. Carefully selecting the missions you fly will help you get promoted more quickly.

Here is a Level One CAP mission. Level One CAPs are mostly back-line, far from the action. However, if you remember where the hotspots were displayed in the War Room, you will notice that this CAP mission is just to the south of that area. Accepting this sort of mission is an ideal opportunity to get involved in some real action which in turn should get you promoted quickly if you are successful.

Level Two CAP mission

Once you've completed a few missions successfully you should find yourself promoted to a Level Two pilot. Level Two still isn't quite sufficient to get to the key missions, but you can now fly frontline CAP missions.

Here we can see a Level Two CAP mission right alongside the Enemy border. Recalling the information we saw in the War Room, we know that this CAP is almost on top of the cluster of Enemy frontline bases. This mission is sure to be packed with action and opportunity for promotion.

Although the points you receive for destroying additional Enemy targets remain the same regardless of your rank, the points you need for promotion get greater with each rank. This means that the benefits of shooting down additional targets are greater the lower your rank - so get out there and start shooting!

Level Two SEAD mission

Even at the lower rank of Level Two you still get the odd Strike mission coming up. Here is a strike mission to hop over the border and attack an Enemy C4 target. This is a great chance, not only to help the war effort, but to get promoted to a Level Three pilot.

We'll accept this one and go into the Mission Planner. Using the Mission Planner with the knowledge of the intel from the War Room will increase our chances of success.
